The Origin of Quiver.love

As designers and manufacturers of storage solutions for adult toys and more, we are frequently asked how the idea for our company came to be, this is our story...

A bright spot in the pandemic lockdown was the suddenly available, seemingly endless, time.  Designing and sewing was our favorite way to utilize "Pandemic Time". We started out making zipper bags, pouches, pillows and masks (of course) to sell in an Etsy shop.

Then was the idea to make a zipper pouch custom designed for a wand massager, no one remembers who said it, as often happens in a brainstorm. There is no "I" in team afterall. We quickly made them for ourselves and five more for the ETSY shop. They sold swiftly, and a brilliant idea was born.

The following spring, we attended a screening of “Fashion Reimagined” at the Newport Film Festival. The film is a hard hitting look the massive negative effects of the fashion industry on our environment. The film states that one hundred billion tons of clothing are created annually. ONE HUNDRED BILLION and three out of five tons end up in landfills. The mission of the film's creator is to create a completely sustainable fashion brand.

The film inspired thoughts about how Quiver.love could grow and make more products without being a just another reckless waste-maker.  Could we manufacture our products, at a larger scale, and NOT create waste like ALL of the bigger companies do?

From the start, we aligned Quiver.love with our personal core values: reducing, reusing, and recycling, buying local and from small business when ever possible.  As we've grown, we've taken an even stronger stance.  We watch how other companies carelessly make waste and we enjoy doing the exact opposite, you might even say, we get off on it.  The challenge to do it better, is exhilarating and rewarding.
